Phase Coordinates Method: Break Model
During operation of electric power systems, not only short-circuit modes can occur, but also breaks. The phase coordinate method allows you to simulate wire breakage.
The method of phase coordinates, modeling of an electric network, a network with a grounded and isolated neutral.

The equivalent load in phase coordinates is given by a constant active and reactive power. Based on the magnitude of the load power and voltage, a direct transfer matrix is calculated.
As a transverse load, connection of compensating devices such as shunt reactors can be considered. They are designed to compensate for reactive power in the network and to regulate voltage. This improves the quality of the transmitted electrical energy.
In the phase coordinate method for modeling damage in the power line, the corresponding damage model is used with its transmission matrix. The damage model is composed of a set of active resistances.
In almost any simulated circuit there is a power line. The phase coordinate method allows you to simulate the power line, including with distributed parameters, taking into account the longitudinal active and capacitive conductivity.
